Restoration

When restoring old instruments, I place great emphasis on preserving as much of their original condition and material as possible. Every intervention requires precision, sensitivity and careful handling.

I always discuss the purpose and suitability of each restoration procedure with the musician in advance. As a violinist, I am able to test the instrument across its full range and then adjust it to suit the individual needs and preferences of the player.

Upon request, I am also happy to provide photographic documentation of the restoration process.
